How to save and check an Instagram carousel

Copy the carousel post itself

Open the album and copy its post link. Submit it in the Instagram photo downloader and wait for inspection. If a gallery is available, choose the original-files ZIP option. A profile URL alone does not tell the tool which album to retrieve.

Extract the archive before opening the media

A ZIP is a package of files, not a video format. Save it, extract its contents using your device’s file manager, and open the individual media files. The archive can contain both images and videos from a mixed post.

Check order and completeness

Compare the extracted files against the visible source post. Numbered filenames help retain the returned sequence, but a successful archive does not prove that a restricted source exposed every slide. Keep the source URL alongside your files if you need to check the collection later.

Keep expectations realistic

The service accepts up to 50 gallery items per job and a maximum output of 1 GB. The image file may already have been compressed by the platform. For an editing master or print-quality asset, obtain the original from its owner.
